Miami based designer Julian Chang was born in Lima, Peru, and grew up in a multicultural environment. He moved to Miami at the age of 17 and attended Miami International University of Art & Design, graduating with a BA in Fashion Design. He did not waste time waiting for things to happen for him, but instead quickly soon after created his own label “Julian Chang” and started building a clientele of Miami’s fabulous people.

He has dressed celebrity clients including Madonna, Gloria Estefan, Paris Hilton, and also Janet Jackson.
Julian launched his Contemporary Women’s collection in 2010, selling to over 600 boutiques across the United States and also internationally. His first showroom was opened in 2009 on Miami’s upper East Side, and he followed that with locations in Miami Beach and South Beach.
For his bold and creative designs, Julian has received numerous awards including Florida International’s Designer Star Winner, Vogue En Espanol “Designer’s Choice Award”, MFW “Prêt-a-Porter Designer of the Year”, Prêt-a-Porter Style Award, Ebenezer Award of Honor World Fashion in Korea, Cadillac Luxury Lifestyle Award, Women’s Wear Daily selected Chang as the “Up and Coming Ready-to-Wear Designer to watch”, Gen Art Fresh Faces Award, Vox Out Award and AI Alumni Wall of Fame, and he was also a recipient of The Key to the City of Miami Beach.
