Thursday December 29th 2016: MODE announced it’s eagerly awaited “MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women 2016” list at a private invite-only event to much excitement. Toping the list at number one is Olivia Culpo. Followed at number two is Fan Bingbing, and at number three is Beatriz Fortunato. There were a lot of oohs and aahs, some surprises, and some big smiles. Some of our editors were clearly relieved because they no longer had to continuously dodge questions about who was in and who was out of the closely guarded list this year.
MODE’s President, Alexander Michaels, announced the top ten from the 100 list first and stated that, “Compiling this year’s ‘MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women’ list was particularly challenging for MODE because of the incredible level of talent, achievement, and energy of those within the list, and also those just out of it.” He continued, “One of the most enjoyable aspects for us of compiling the list every year is reading the contributions and suggestions from our readers on who their favorites are. You get to learn so much about so many wonderful people on the list and understand that this is not merely about physical beauty, but rather more about hard work, dedication to one’s craft and goals, and the powerful impact these amazing women have on society.”
TOP 3 Celebrities – “MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women 2016” Collector’s Edition
Olivia Culpo is #1 in “MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women 2016” list. The former ‘Miss Universe’, ‘Miss USA’, and ‘Miss Rhode Island USA’ was a favorite and a beloved of MODE readers.
Fan Bingbing is at #2 in “MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women 2016” list. Fan, one of the highest paid actresses in the world and a fashion world darling, has consistently topped the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2013, 2014, and 2015, and has been on the top 10 of that list since 2006. Most will recognize Fan as Blink in the superhero film ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. She’s also in Skiptrace with Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville, and in League of Gods with Jet Li.
Beatriz Fortunato is at #3 in “MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women 2016” list. International fashion model, Brazilian’s Beatriz Fortunato, first appeared on the cover of Mode Lifestyle Magazine in 2016’s ‘The Art Of Beauty’ issue, shot in the French Riviera. Beatriz became a sensation when she rose from a life of relative obscurity as a resident of the Jacarézinho community in Rio de Janeiro after winning the Top CUFA contest beating out over 20,000 candidates from all over Brazil. She is the elusive fantasy girl that her boyfriend was trying to get back in the dance favorite record ‘Maître Gims – Ma beauté’ (Master Gims – My Beauty).
The definitive yearly MODE’s World’s 100 Most Beautiful Women list is about much more than just physical beauty. Behind the undeniable external beauty you have artists, business owners, actors, models, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists.
