Our editorial “When the Gods Come Down to Parga” in this edition was of course shot in the beautiful town of Parga, which is in the northwestern part of the regional unit of Preveza in Epirus, northwestern Greece. This is a historic town with written history mentions going back to 1318.
Parga is one of the, if not the most, popular holidays destination in Epirus, and well known for its colorful houses built on the slopes of a mountain, amazing views of the sea, and beaches where you can unwind and enjoy the sounds of nature. As you stroll through the cobbled stone streets you will see neighborhoods with beautiful flower gardens which make a perfect backdrop for the calming sunset views.
From Parga you can go for explorations of Sivota, Preveza and Lefkada. Parga town itself is very well suited for the tourist that wants to enjoy the old time beauty as well as have access to lots of amenities. It has many restaurants as well as hotels, and guides to help you make the most of your time there.
So if you’re looking for somewhere special to go to for your next vacation where you can collect beautiful memories, you should consider adding Parga to the top of your list.
